Hunt for missing Leah Redman, 14, after she went missing from family home a week ago
COPS are on the hunt for a missing 14-year-old after she vanished from her home a week ago.
Leah Redman went missing from Brighton, Sussex, on January 18 when she left her address.
After carrying out initial enquiries, police believe she may have travelled to the North East as she said to have links to Sunderland, Newcastle and Durham.
Northumbria Police are assisting with the search and are asking anyone in the area who has information, or has seen Leah, to get in touch.
Officers have released a description of her in case the public recognise her.
A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: "Leah is described as slim with long brown hair, 5ft7, and was last seen wearing a cream-coloured jacket and black Nike trainers."
