Harry confident ‘flying solo’ in trailer without Meghan, says body language guru

Prince Harry released a new mental health documentary trailer on Apple TV on Monday (May 17) and appeared to be holding back tears as he spoke of his troubled past.

The joint project with TV host Oprah Winfrey is called "The Me You Can’t See" and body language expert Judi James has analysed Harry's behaviour in the trailer and shared her thoughts.

The expert said she observed an "elevation in his power signals" and signs he wanted to appear confident enough to "fly solo" without his celebrity wife Meghan Markle always at his side, The Mirror reports.

Although the trailer showed a "brief glimpse" of Meghan smiling at Harry, he took centre stage as he recounted his battle with mental health.

There is also an archive clip of Harry at his mother's funeral, aged just 12.

Talking about the scene from Princess Diana's funeral, Judi told The Mirror: "The focal point of that tragedy is made clearly when we are then shown the very young Harry walking behind his mother’s coffin wearing an expression that would break the hardest heart."

"Harry’s body language fluctuates during this very emotive and noisy trailer with its crashing music, shouting voices and tragic tears," she added.

"At some points we see him adopting a semi-professional pose like a therapist or counsellor offering experience, help and advice but at others, he is clearly evoking his own tragedy."

Judi continued: "After the rapping, ‘comedy Harry’ of the James Corden show and the bean-spilling, angry Harry of the first Oprah interview we are now being shown a glimpse of a calmer and more determined-looking man, comfortable and confident to fly solo with only a brief glimpse of Meghan and with an elevation in his power signals."

In the trailer, Harry sits down with Oprah and tells her: "To make that decision to receive help is not a sign of weakness.

"In today's world, more than ever, it is a sign of strength."

The Me You Can’t See will premiere May 21 on Apple TV+
