In the famous interview with Oprah, Harry and Meghan revealed that the royal family cut off their allowance.

Harry and Meghan bought a nine-bedroom, 16-bathroom mansion in Montecito, California for around £10 million in June 2020.
Recent estimations believe that the home is now worth three times the value the Sussexes paid for it.
The property has a gym, spa, tennis court and pool, as well as a separate guest house and shed for rescued hens.
Montecito is a wealthy area full of celebs like Ariana Grande, Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey.
Where do Meghan and Harry get their money?
Since stepping down from royal duties, the couple can now look to extend their business interests elsewhere.
They have a deal with the streaming platform Spotify, reported to be worth around £18 million.
The couple also signed a huge deal with Netflix. Estimations of the deal vary, but it is believed to be north of £74 million.
Harry said: "From my perspective all I needed was enough money to be able to pay for security, to keep my family safe."
It is believed that prior to stepping down, 95% of their income came from Prince Charles.
Harry also has his claim to a share of around £13 million left for him by his mother, Princess Diana.
