POLICE have arrested four people over the "unexplained" death of a young woman at a home.
Emergency crews were scrambled to Halifax in West Yorkshire yesterday lunchtime following concerns for the safety of a woman.
She was rushed to hospital after being discovered unresponsive and injured inside the property.
Tragically the woman, aged in her 20s, couldn't be saved and was declared dead shortly after.
Three men, aged 34, 35 and 56, and a 41-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the horror.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed they remain in custody while they probe the "unexplained" death.
The force added: "At 12.13pm yesterday, police received a call from the ambulance service regarding a concern for safety of a women at an address in Gibraltar Road, Halifax.
"Emergency services attended and found a woman in her twenties unresponsive and in need of medical attention.
"She was taken to hospital where she was found to have injuries and was sadly pronounced deceased a short time later.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained."
