A FORMER Kentucky state representative's daughter, Jordan Morgan, was killed in a horror Richmond home invasion that saw parents 'shot up' & hurt.
Morgan is the daughter of C. Wesley Morgan, who served in the Kentucky House of Representatives for the 81st district.
The shooting reportedly occurred at 4.30am on Tuesday at the Morgan's estate in Richmond.
An armed suspect allegedly entered the home and fired shots, according to police.
Gunfire was exchanged between the suspect and the homeowner, according to Kentucky State Police.
Jordan, 32, was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene.
C. Wesley Morgan was treated at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital and released, according to Madison County Coroner Jimmy Cornelison.
He told the Lexington Herald-Leader he and his wife were "shot up" during the incident but did not provide additional details.

A suspect has not been identified in the shooting. No arrests have been made.
C. Wesley Morgan left the Kentucky House of Representatives in 2018 after one term.
He went on to challenge Senator Mitch McConnell in the 2020 Kentucky Republican primary, but was unsuccessful.
His daughter followed in his footsteps, working on Matt Bevin's campaign for Kentucky governor in 2015.
Jordan left politics in 2017 and was reportedly working in Lexington at the Reminger law firm.
The Morgan's estate was up for sale for $6.5million last year, according to realtor.com.
The home contains the "ultimate fallout shelter," listing agent Marilyn Hoffman wrote, which cost more than $2million to build.
