First picture of boy, 17, who hurled liquid at London moped riders in 90-minute spree
A 17-YEAR-OLD boy who hurled acid at six moped riders in London during a sick 90-minute spree can be pictured for the first time.
The judge who jailed Ferne McCann's ex Arthur Collins today lifted reporting restrictions to identify evil Derryck John, from Croydon, south London as the attacker.
Cops released the teen's mugshot after he plead guilty to all six attacks.
John, who was 16 at the time, stole two mopeds and tried to take another four from their owners, before being arrested at around 3am on July 14.
At Wood Green Crown Court today John pleaded guilty to six counts of throwing a corrosive liquid with intent to "disable, burn, maim, disfigure or cause grievous bodily harm", two counts of robbery and four counts of attempted robbery.
Another unidentified person is listed on the indictment as also having been involved in the attacks. The teenager earlier denied the charges and had been due to stand trial.
Victims, who were all reportedly fast-food delivery drivers, had to be rushed to hospital after having the corrosive substance either thrown or sprayed in their faces.
A 49-year-old man who lives nearby Windus Road in Stoke Newington said he saw a man, who authorities say suffered “life-changing injuries”, clutching his face in pain after the attack.
Speaking to The Sun Online at the time, Samuel Leibowitz said the victim, who was brutally assaulted at 11.18pm, appeared to be in “agony."
He said: "I was at home and got a call from a friend saying "did you hear?"
"He was just leaning on the wall. There were lots of people coming out and giving him water.
"It was about midnight. I came out well after it happened.
“He was in agony. He was holding his face. I couldn't even see what he looked like.
“If you see somebody with a knife or a gun, you know what to look for. The problem (with acid attacks) is you can’t be prepared."

Arthur Collins was caged for 20 years for the horror nightclub acid attack that left clubbers scarred for life.
The judge added that Collins had deliberately taken strong acid to the night club "to use when the need arised".
Collins, who had been out celebrating after discovering Ferne, 27, was pregnant with baby daughter Sunday, had admitted throwing the liquid but said he did not know it was acid.
