Elon Musk cracks ‘autopilot’ joke after couple film sex tape in driverless Tesla
Tesla CEO Elon Musk had a cheeky response after two people filmed a porn video in one of the company's self-driving cars.
Porn star Taylor Jackson and her boyfriend decided to film themselves having sex inside the Tesla while it was driving down the road before sharing the raunchy footage on Pornhub.
Tesla has never commented on the clip, but it appears Musk was rather amused by the incident.
Although not mentioning the video directly, he tweeted: "Turns out there's more ways to use Autopilot than we imagined."
He followed that tweet with a second which read: "Shoulda seen it coming…"
Another user replied, writing: "Tesla is S3XY after all."
To which Musk responded: "Basically begging for it."
The original tweet also sparked a response from Pornhub, who wrote: "My bad."
According to Tesla's website: "Autopilot is intended for use with a fully attentive driver, who has their hands on the wheel and is prepared to take over at any time." Which, if you've seen the video, you'll know this couple wasn't ready to do.
Despite the popularity of her video, Jackson said she wouldn't recommend anyone else giving it a try.
Speaking to Insider, she said she hadn't been scared during the filming, but that she did accidentally knock out the autopilot system after bumping the steering wheel.
She added: "It was mainly a straight road, but it had a lot of traffic.
"We had a lot of cars driving by us."

Jackson also told The Register: "Earlier this year I was on a road trip with my boyfriend and he asked me to have sex with him while driving.
"We both thought it was hot and joked about doing it again and putting it on Pornhub. We thought someone had to have done it before so we looked it up, but we couldn't find a single video. A few weeks later I signed up for a Pornhub account and this video was one of the first few videos I made."
She added: "I have experienced Autopilot a lot, so I did feel safe.
"We did have one scare where I hit the steering wheel and knocked it out of autopilot mode. I wouldn't recommend it since it is dangerous."
