Donald Trump mocks Joe Biden's confused stage exits at campaign rally
Donald Trump mocks Joe Biden’s confused exits from stage to laughs and cheers at Vegas event – and claims 80 year-old president loses focus after his DRUGS wear off
- The former president, who is in full campaign mode, mocked his Democratic rival for his apparent inability to find his way off stage
- Biden, 80, has, on many occasions, looked lost or confused as he attempts to make his way off stage following an address
- Trump, who will likely be the 2023 GOP nominee for president, is pulling no punches as he derides his 2020 rival in the leadup to the election
Former President Donald Trump remains hot on the campaign trail mercilessly mocking his 2020 rival, current President Joe Biden.
At a recent campaign stop in Las Vegas, Trump went so far as to perform a full physical comedy routine that mocked Biden, 80, for not being able to find his way off stage.
‘He can’t put two sentences together and he’s in charge of nuclear warfare,’ Trump said to a crowd of adoring supporters.
Citing Biden’s often confused exits from the stage following public addresses, Trump told the audience he was equipped to do a better job locating off-ramps than his likely 2024 opponent.
‘I see a stairway there, I see a stairway there. If I had to, I’d jump right off this front end thing (gesturing toward the front of the stage) – we could make it, it’s about four feet,’ he said.
Trump then launched into a mime routine of Biden getting lost as he looked for an exit from the podium.

‘By that time, all the stuff has worn off, so he’s totally incoherent,’ Trump said of the president’s state of mind when he’s done delivering a speech.
He then spun in circles around the stage, imitating the way Biden often looks lost as he waits for a handler to come escort him from the podium.
At one point, Trump turned toward the backdrop of the speech and began flailing his arms in mock confusion.
The supportive crowd was in stitches and when Trump had finished his bit, they began chanting his name.
At a rally in the past week, Trump mocked Biden for using the ‘children’s stairs’ to board Air Force One.
Biden has been using a shorter staircase to board and deplane the presidential aircraft following a series of high-profile stumbles.
‘Crooked Joe can’t even walk up the children’s stairs,’ Trump said to laughs.
He said, in New Hampshire, that prospective voters would likely want a leader who is able walk off Air Force One ‘nice and high’, while being able to ‘wave at everyone’ without fear of falling.
Citing the much shorter, sturdier set of stairs that fold out from the belly of the plane being used by Biden after his widely seen spills, he tore into his prospective opponent: ‘This guys goes to the little stairs. We call them the children’s stairs.
‘And now he’s made it a common practice because he can’t quite make it up or down,’ Trump said.

Video shows First Lady Jill Biden helping her 80-year-old husband walk off stage after the couple gave keynote speeches at the Human Right’s Campaign dinner
Last month, Biden was shepherded off the stage at an event by his wife, First Lady Jill Biden – who has frequently been seen guiding her husband when he is apparently unable to do it himself throughout his presidency.
After the pair, respectively, delivered remarks at a Human Rights Campaign dinner in Washington, DC, Jill rejoined her husband on stage to lead him to an exit.
During his nearly three years in office, Biden has taken a notably high number of public spills, prompting the media and public to question his physical fitness for the job.
In May, Biden fell to the ground at the Air Force Academy commencement ceremony. The episode raised concerns inside and outside the White House, and prompted some adjustments to his travel protocol.
Dramatic video of the event appeared to show the president tripping over a black sandbag that was on stage, where the president congratulated graduating cadets.
‘I got sandbagged,’ he joked to reporters following the tumble.
In June of last year, Biden took an embarrassing spill off his bicycle in front of the press corp. while he was spending time at his weekend home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
Gasps could be heard as he lay on the ground for 10 seconds before being helped up by the Secret Service.

Gasps rang out after the president unexpectedly fell in June as he was trying to dismount his bike to chat with a crowd who had gathered along a Rehoboth Beach bike path
The White House later said his foot got caught on a pedal while he was trying to dismount and he wasn’t hurt.
Biden has also repeatedly tripped and take near-spills while boarding and getting off of Air Force One during various foreign and domestic visits.
Although Biden is running a 2024 reelection campaign, polling shows (at least) 73 percent of Americans think he is too old for the job.
At 80 years old, two-thirds of the president’s own party think he is too old.
