Denver-area NBC stations back on DISH network after two-month absence.

KUSA and KTVD, channels 9 and 20, are back on the air for DISH subscribers.

Tegna Inc., owner of the two Denver TV stations, announced Friday that it has reached a new “carriage agreement” with DISH Network, ending an absence dating back to October.

“We are pleased to announce that we have reached a new agreement with DISH, restoring our valuable and important live local news, live local and national sports and highly popular network content to DISH TV subscribers,” said Lynn Beall, an executive with Tegna, in a news release. “We appreciate the patience of our viewers while we worked toward reaching an agreement.”

The agreement includes retransmission consent for all 64 TEGNA-owned stations.

Tegna is an American publicly traded broadcast, digital media and marketing services company headquartered in Virginia. Publicly traded DISH is headquartered in Englewood.
