Devastated Bijou Phillips is using crystal healing and chakras to help her come to terms with husband Danny Masterson being handed a hefty jail sentence for raping two women, DailyMail.com can reveal.
The That ’70s Show star, 47, was sentenced to 30 years to life imprisonment last week and is currently languishing in LA County’s Men’s Central Jail while awaiting a transfer to a state prison.
Phillips, 43, has supported Masterson throughout his rape trial and burst into tears on hearing his sentence before sneaking out of court through a back door.
The mom-of-one, who lives on a smallholding in Santa Ynez, California, has now turned to holistic therapies to help her cope with the prospect of life without her husband and the stress of the appeals process, friends told DailyMail.com.

Phillips, who is the daughter of Mamas and Papas singer John Phillips, has previously used crystals – photos newly unearthed by DailyMail.com show her clutching a book called The Complete Guide to Crystal Chakra Healing in September 2021.
The photos, which were captured shortly after the actor’s arrest, show her close to her home with the tome tucked under her arm.
According to the blurb, the book, written by Phillip Permutt, offers ‘energy medicine for mind, body and spirit’.
The pitch goes on: ‘Crystals are natural energy-boosters, which protect us by detoxifying our physical, emotional, and spiritual systems from stress, promoting well-being and serenity.

‘This book explains exactly how to use a crystal pendulum to diagnose the health of a chakra and how to use a wealth of healing techniques to gently re-balance energy.
‘With everything you need to know about crystals, plus charts, photographs, and step-by-step illustrations, exercises, and case studies, The Complete Guide to Crystal Chakra Healing will guide you toward better health and, ultimately, a calmer, happier life,’ it claims.
Phillips, like Masterson, is a devoted Scientologist and the controversial church appears to have no issue with believers using crystals.
Scientologists do believe they have ‘suppressed’ powers of their own which can be unleashed if they live their lives according to a set of pseudoscientific practices called Dianetics which were invented by founder L. Ron Hubbard.
But the darker side of Scientology was on full display throughout Masterson’s trial, with both victims saying they felt unable to speak out after he raped them for fear of reprisals.
The church, which is notoriously litigious, is currently being investigated by Federal authorities over allegedly attempting to infiltrate the government and has question marks hanging over it due to the ongoing mystery over the whereabouts of leader David Miscavige’s wife Shelly who vanished in 2007.
Actress Leah Remini, a former Scientologist who left in 2013, is suing the church and Miscavige over what she describes as years of harassment. She was in court to hear Masterson’s sentence while Phillips heard it surrounded by other Scientologists.

Last week, friends told DailyMail.com that Phillips ‘can’t accept’ that her husband is a convicted rapist while his lawyer Shawn Holley says that he plans to appeal.
A source close to Phillips told DailyMail.com: ‘Bijou’s only positive outlook on things stems from her trust in Danny and the appeal process.
‘She is hanging on to the fact that she completely trusts he never did what he was charged for, she can’t accept that to be true. And she is looking to the appeal process for justice to be served.
‘Danny is adamant he did nothing wrong and Bijou believes him. Her other thoughts are a little more scary and morbid: she doesn’t believe Danny will harm himself in jail, but she is very worried someone will harm him or even kill him and the stress that is bringing her is on its own level of stress that she never has felt before.
‘It is a nightmare, but she will be on his side moving forward and continue to be present for their daughter.’
Masterson – now prisoner number 6614941 – had two trials over the rapes with the first ending in a mistrial after a different jury were hopelessly deadlocked on all three rape charges.
‘He was freed on $3.3million bail throughout both, but that freedom ended with his double conviction May 31.
In court last week, Masterson’s victims tearfully told how he had ruined their lives.
‘You are pathetic, disturbed and extremely violent and the world is a safer place with you in prison,’ said Jane Doe #2, looking straight at the actor, who was dressed in a gray suit and open-neck gray shirt.
‘You are a true coward and heartless monster,’ added Jane Doe #1. ‘I think life is an appropriate sentence.’
His accusers – whom DailyMail.com is identifying only as Jane Does – are former Scientologists and are also suing the actor and the Church of Scientology in civil court, claiming that they’ve been harassed and intimidated since reporting him to police.
A status hearing on that civil case is scheduled for September 26.

Letters released by the court following sentencing showed Phillips, along with Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, had written letters to Judge Charlaine Olmedo begging her for leniency.
In hers, Phillips described him as a ‘life-saving partner’ and described how he had ‘toiled long days’ on their ranch to make it profitable.
She concluded: ‘We need him more than you can imagine. I know he has been convicted of serious crimes.
‘But the man I married has only been an extraordinary husband to me and a devoted father to our daughter.’
Kutcher and Kunis, who issued a groveling apology over the weekend after being slammed for their support of Masterson, had described him as an ‘exceptional person’.
Both previously starred alongside him on That 70s Show. Kutcher had told the judge ‘I do not believe he is an ongoing harm to society’ adding that ‘having his daughter raised without a present father’ would be ‘a tertiary injustice in and of itself’.
Kunis, meanwhile, had told Judge Olmedo of Masterson’s ‘exceptional character and the tremendous positive influence he has had on me and the people around him.’
