Banned sex toy advert pokes fun at Prince Harry as ‘silence is golden’
A sex toy advert poking fun at Prince Harry's memoir has been banned – but not for making a jab at the royal.
Well-known adult toy store Lovehoney had a digital billboard at London's Clapham Junction train station on February 8 of this year, displaying an image of a ball gag, a popular prop used in sexual play.
"Silence is golden, Harry," large text next to the X-rated image read, mocking the Duke of Sussex.

And in another apparent jibe at the prince, smaller text underneath showed a link where kinky shoppers could purchase "spare ball gags".
But the advert was quickly taken down as it was displayed in a place where kids would be able to see it.
The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) revealed it receives one complaint claiming the ad was offensive and inappropriate for display in an untargeted medium where it could be seen by minors.
But Lovehoney bit back and said they didn't believe the advert was inappropriate as a ball gag wasn't explicitly sexual and children wouldn't know what it was.

The sex toy vendor explained the ad was created in response to the release of Harry’s memoir, which they said contained "a number of indiscreet revelations, some of which had a sexual reference."
Lovehoney said in a press release at the time the advert was released the commercial "was meant to be humorous and that not all family stories needed to be shared with the public."
However, the ASA concluded: "We considered that while younger children were likely to be unaware of what the item was, older children might have greater awareness of what the object was intended for.
"We therefore considered that the ad was inappropriate for outdoor display where it could be seen by children.
"We concluded that the ad had been irresponsibly targeted."
This isn't the first time Harry has come under fire after his bombshell book, Spare, was released on January 10 of this year.

In the book he made a series of digs at his royal relatives, taking particular aim at his dad, King Charles III, stepmum Queen Consort Camilla, and brother, Prince William.
He also had some more blue confessions about losing his virginity and taking drugs at a young age, which had readers in shock.
The Duke, who now lives in California with wife Meghan Markle and their two children, said he had his first romp with an older woman who treated him like a "young stallion", claiming he "mounted her quickly" before "she spanked my ass and sent me away."
The Daily Star has contacted Lovehoney for comment.
