As Crypto Booms, More Brits Plan To Get On Board The Train
It’s the “bull run,” and more people are coming to know cryptocurrencies daily. These people include institutional investors, small businesses, and everyday retail investors.
According to a recent survey by Piplsay, 23% of 6,070 Brits randomly picked expressed willingness to purchase cryptocurrencies.
More British Citizens Willing To Buy Cryptos
Piplsay is a global consumer research platform. A recent survey by the platform revealed exciting statistics about the brits and how they viewed cryptocurrencies with their willingness to invest in these digital currencies.
The survey conducted among 6,070 participants shows that 54% of the participants know about cryptocurrencies. 36% of them know about cryptos to some extent, while 18% know about cryptos quite well. A tiny percentage, about 9%, haven’t heard about cryptos, while 37%, though heard, have zero understanding of how crypto works.
However, some 23% of the respondents have shown interest in dabbling into the crypto space. This category of people is recorded as new investors in the space as they have no prior crypto investment whatsoever.
Older Generation Considers Crypto Risky, Millennials Give It A Thumbs Up
This survey also shows that the older generation, most participants in their 40s to 50s, consider cryptocurrency investments a precarious venture.
On the other hand, Millennials who have always considered digital investment a more preferred option to traditional investing give crypto investment a thumbs up. Those in this category’s age bracket are those who fall within their late 20s and early 30s.
Zoomers, (those born in the late 90s and early 2000s), also aren’t left out. They see crypto investment as a safe venture.
Zoomers are, however, beating the Millenials to this money game with a significant number of Zoomers into cryptos than the Millenials.
A Big Global Awareness On The Rise
There’s a global wave of crypto believers springing up around the world. Apart from the Brits, many other people are also considering cryptocurrency investments, recognizing digital currencies as a safe haven and a hedge against collapsing economies.
