Millionaire financier Ben Goldsmith tweets heartbreaking message asking God for his 'little girl back' after Iris died on Monday

MILLIONAIRE dad Ben Goldsmith has begged God for his daughter back in a heart-wrenching message after the 15-year-old girl died in a quad bike accident at her family's farm.

Iris Annabel, the niece of Tory MP Zac Goldsmith, tragically died in the crash in Somerset on Monday – with her dad last night writing a poignant tribute for his "beautiful, brilliant, kind little girl".

The heart-wrenching message posted on Twitter read: "Dear God, please can I have my beautiful, brilliant, kind little girl back, please God.

"And if not, please take extra special care of her.

"I love her so so much and I’m so proud of her. It hurts me so much I can’t describe."

The dad, who is Zac's brother, shared a photo of his daughter in a yellow jumper smiling at the camera.

Iris was reportedly riding with a friend in a "ranger vehicle" – an off-road buggy with a roll cage likened to a cross between a quadbike and a Jeep – when the crash unfolded at her dad's farm on Monday.

The schoolgirl had just finished her GCSEs, and had been marked as a top pupil nationally in academic results.

Dear God, please can I have my beautiful, brilliant, kind little girl back, please God.

Dad Ben had reportedly been at a cricket game at Charterhouse School in Godalming, Surrey, when he received the call Iris had been hurt.

He then rushed off, with a team member saying they had not realised how serious the collision had been.

Rhiannon Wilkinson, head of the £40,000-a-year Wycombe Abbey School, in Bucks, where Iris was a pupil, yesterday said she was “sparky, inquisitive and sunny”.

A school pal wrote on Twitter: “Heaven has now a remarkable angel with the most flamboyant hair and personality.”

Iris was the heiress to two of Britain's most powerful dynasties – the Goldsmith and Rothschild families.

She was the first child of Ben and his ex-wife Kate Emma Rothschild, who are believed to have a joint fortune of more than £300million.

The two families are worth billions of pounds.

An inquest is expected to be opened soon.

Ben, 38, and Kate, 37, have two other children: Frank, 13 and Isaac, 11.

The pair separated in 2012 and Kate started a romance with US rapper Jay Electronica.

She is now in a relationship with entrepreneur Paul Forkan.

Ben remarried catering company boss Jemima Jones two years later and they now have two young children – Eliza and Arlo.

He is the youngest child of billionaire tycoon Sir James Goldsmith and Lady Annabel Vane-Tempest.

Ben's older brother is the Tory MP for Richmond and North Kingston.

Zac ran for London Mayor in 2016 and lost to Sadiq Khan after securing 43 per cent of the vote.

His sister is Jemima Khan, the former wife of retired cricketer and current Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan.

The Old Etonian is an advisor to Environmental Secretary Michael Gove.
